Bourbon street -SD

The all popular bourbon street bar has opened it's French quarter doors and is now offering brunch and a taste of new orleans!

From po boys to beignets, the options are slim, though the creole inspired dishes are a treat.

N'awlins still reigns in with crawfish and gumbo, but some of the spices are finally making their way to the west.

A blue cheese topped angus beef burger with caramelized onions and bacon broke the southern call :

With spiced up wedge potatoes... Definitely a mouth full!

Bloody marys are a dime a dozen in the city, but for differentiation factor, wasabi enhanced, bacon vodka and creole spiced are a few of the varieties to sample:

The bacon egg scramble doesn't leave california taste buds behind, topped with avocado and diced onions:

Looking to see how the food fares at bourbon, looks like a new competitor for Lei and small bar down the street...
