Tocqueville - NY

Located in the flatiron district, Tocqueville offers fresh ingredients, great preparation in a warm and comfortable elegant setting. White linen cloth service done with a smile, service and attention to detail are fantastic.

A ceviche scallop starter, topped with a truffle shaving, was amazing:

Light, fresh and full of flavor, Dijon hints and smoky accents..

The wagyu beef tartare was equally as amazing. Marbled wagyu beef, raw with baby cauliflower and quail egg dots..

A baked skin trout transition, seared deliciously with baby peas:

The crisp chicken, wrapped in a layer of smoky prosciutto an crispified to a tasty bite:

Drizzled with a port reduction and superfine mashed potatoes, baby leeks complimented the dish well.

For dessert, an overly rich chocolate mousse souffle:

Decadent and rich, served with espresso ice cream.

For an indulgent experience in a comfortable sophisticated space, the 12 table space and high quality of food, Tocqueville is sure to be a pleaser.
