Ok, the poblanos at Miami international are quite good. SFO has one of the best sushi places:

But your typical place, including SD which is in major need of an upgrade, give you chicken finger salads:

Charles de Gaulle and heathrow are also bad. I love it how a piece of Brie and baguette constitute a Parisian sandwich. Or London's famed curry chicken sandwiches. Denmark at least has an oyster bar, but Singapore international still takes the prize. Well actually, Dubai has a pretty nice airport with just about all kinds of foods as well, with Frankfurt close behind. Kuwait, Beirut, Bangkok, Turkey, Armenia, Jordan, morocco and Egypt hardly compare.
What about best airline food? Even on first or business, most American based airlines count as semi-descent. At least United has a pretty good wine selection. Forget the economy food options these days, Air Canada is even charging for their meals.
Emirates, Singapore, and Lufthansa take the prize for airline food. On one Emirates flight, actually requested seconds!
