Bite SD

Tucked in between mama testa and Baja betty's is Bite. It offers small size tapas in a modern setting. At one point, the chef from Confidential came to set things up, where the food flavors are quite good.

This is what the tasting session involved:

Mushroom tapenade crostini's to start. Mushroom goodness smothered onto a toasting bread with a bit of microgreens and a plump Roma tomatoe slice.

Grilled portobello an arugula salad.. Nice mushrooms, didnt care for the tomatoes on this salad. Feta cheese and balsamic glaze went well together.

Seared sesame coated ahi tuna with a raspberry sauce. The tune was well prepared, overpowered by the sesame seeds but good. Didn't fully harmonize with the raspberry but it added an interesting dimension.

The grilled eggplant was excellent. Olive oil brushed eggplant grilled and served with beet carpaccio style and an herbed goat cheese :

With the option to mix it up, you can have a sampling of many flavors. Champagne happy hours and full size entered have been added, though the small plate concept is attractive.
