It was ok, but did not rock my world. The hosts are grateful and the selection is quite broad, however was not blown away.
The yellowtail sashimi was good portioned and was fresh:

The el fuego roll was actually the best thing. Tuna Covered in a spicy red Sauce with jalepeno slices on top. The Sauce overpowered the tuna, but it had a good kick.

The salmón was a little disappointing. The inner crab meat did not have the fresh crab taste, and the carrot piece was dry. The salmón Covered roll was ok:

The red dragon roll was not bad: crunchy shrimp tempura topped With spicy tuna:

Only a door down from sushi Ono, and sister restuarant to THE wonderful sushi in rancho penisquito, the service was great. Although i like my sushi chefs like i like my Massage therapists: At least 20 years of experience required. Its a grade above Ono, and definately does not have the social scene that Ono has, but wouldnt necessarily go out of the way. Perhaps the local specials could win one over.
